Cadet Deputy Commander for Support

C/CMSgt Kaylin Raynor is a Senior at Bishop McNamara High School and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. She enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, and trying new foods. Since joining the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) in 2019, she has held several leadership roles. Her first leadership opportunity came in the summer of 2020 when she led the Red Ribbon/DDR team at a recruiting event at the Aviation Museum.

In 2021, she became the Recruiting Officer. In 2022, she served as the Hotel Flight Sergeant, where she mentored a flight of cadets on the responsibilities of a CAP lifestyle. In 2023, she was appointed Administration Officer, and in 2024, she was promoted to Hotel Flight Commander. Most recently, in June 2024, she was appointed Deputy Commander for Support.

Through these roles, Kaylin has developed skills in team management, communication, and strategic planning, which have prepared her for future leadership opportunities. Her experiences in CAP have influenced her aspiration to pursue a career in psychology, where she can apply her leadership and interpersonal skills to help others.
