Phase 1 - The Learning Phase
In this first phase, cadets learn what it takes to be successful in the Cadet Program and they learn to succeed in anything they try - hard work, self-discipline, motivation, and the self-esteem that comes from setting goals and overcoming obstacles - lessons that will be with them for the rest of their lives.
By the end of phase one - cadets:
- Know how to wear the uniform properly and with pride
- Know Customs and Courtesies
- Start to Learn Aerospace Science
- Learn How to Follow and How to be a Member of a Team
- Have Flown an Airplane (and maybe flown a glider, too.)
- Learned Something about Cyber Security
- Started Emergency Services
- Gone to Encampment
- Learned to Communicate
- Developed a Sense of Personal Responsibility
- Are Ready to Lead
