FEMA Required Courses

(If none of this makes sense, don't worry.  It will by the time you need to do it.)

Depending upon the qualifications you want to follow, you may need to take one or more of the following FEMA Courses.  Check the qualification SQTR.  Most are online except for ICS-300 and ICS-400 which must be taken in person:

IS-3 Radiological Emergency Management

IS-5a Intro to Hazardous Materials

IS-100 Intro to Incident Command System

IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents

ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents

ICS-400 Advanced ICS

IS-700 Intro to the National Incident Management System

IS-800 National Response Framework Introduction

In order to take these course, you must create an account with FEMA.  After you take course, you will receive a course completion certificate (usually in the form of a PDF file.)  Upload the certificate to eServices.
