GES

All personnel supporting missions for Civil Air Patrol start with General Emergency Services training.  This is essentially CAP's license to learn, and also provides core training needed by all members in emergency services:

General Emergency Services Materials  You must have Level 1 (for Senior Members) or Curry (for Cadets) and have passed GES 116 in order to have your GES qualification. 

GES 117a, 117b, and 117c are required for more advanced specialties ... go ahead and take them as well when you have an opportunity.
