Squadron Commander

     Lt Col John Pak joined the College Park Composite Squadron as a cadet in June of 1997. He earned the Billy Mitchell award before becoming a senior member. Pak holds a master rating in the communication specialty track and is a Communications Unit Leader. He also serves on the wing staff as the Maryland Wing Communication Training Officer. Additionally, Pak holds an Amateur Radio Extra Class license. In his role as the Squadron Commander, he hopes to facilitate an environment in which every cadet can take advantage of all that the Civil Air Patrol cadet program has to offer as he credits much of his leadership skills as an adult to what he learned as a cadet.
